Back on island time! Today was the start of 6th semester and it was intense! I started off with small animal medicine II, not bad, then large animal medicine I and small animal surgery. Large animal medicine is strictly about the horse, not my favorite animal, but it should be an interesting class. Surgery will by far be the hardest. We are going to be so busy, SOAPING our donkeys in the morning and at night. SOAP stands for subjective, objective, assessment and plan. Pretty much meaning we give our donkeys thorough physical exams and write up any abnormal findings. We will also have live animal surgery labs, so I am looking forward to that. My schedule will be busy, but it will make the semester fly by, and make closer to coming home for good :).
Funny store: So today after class Alissa and I were shopping at the local grocery store and a very nice woman came up to me and asked if I wrote a blog and if I posted recently about getting engaged. I said yes, and she said she recognized me and read my blog from time to time! I thought that was so awesome! Someone recognized me all the way in St. Kitts! Her daughter goes to Ross as well. It really is a small world. So hello to the lady from IGA and thanks for reading my blog!! :)
Anyway, back to studying for class tomorrow and the PAVE test (which I take Jan. 20th, so please keep me in your prayers that I do well on the exam)
Well thats all for now xoxox
