Donkey Business

Yesterday we got our donkey and sheep for soaping :) I love them! My donkey's name is Ricky Bobby and my sheep's name is Ringo. They are both super cute and well behaved for the most part. We gave them full physical exams yesterday morning and afternoon. Our sheep is a little spastic and doesn't like to be separated from the flock, but they say they train easy and will be coming to us when we call him in no time. As for our donkey, he is very good and lets you palpate him, and do pretty much anything to him if you give him a carrot at the end. I will be taking care of them every other day as of right now, but we might switch up our schedule and try 2 days on and 2 days off.

This is what the Caribbean sheep look like....not woolly like you would think, they look almost just like goats. They way you can tell the difference is that the sheep's tails put down, and the goat's tails stick up straight in the air.

Anyway hope you all have a great weekend! Mine will be filled with Soaping and studying (and a movie tonight to relax )
