I Survived!

Well I made it through my first round of vet school exams. 3 A's and a B. Not too bad if I say so myself. Now the whole cycle starts all over again! ha can't wait! Tonight I will be studying micro anatomy, with a little bit of animal nutrition mixed in. I just got back from a journal review for a club that I am in. The discussion was on the guarded prognosis for males cats with urethral obstructions. Binx was blocked when he was a baby (only 4) and he is still doing good. He will be 9 this year, so hopefully he will not block again! The discussion was interesting seeing how urethral obstructions are very common in male cats, but there is not much you can do to prevent this problem from happening. I still remember how sick Binx was, and we had no idea what was wrong with him. Hopefully I will learn more about this common problem and by the time I'm a vet there will be more answers. Anyway.......I have to go study! :)
