Rejuvenated

Well this weekend has been relaxing. I finished with midterms on Friday morning, and I haven't studied a single bit since! We went right to the beach Friday afternoon, and Alissa and I went to the beach all day yesterday. It was so nice and I feel refreshed now. We went snorkeling, and pretty much just lounged on the beach all day. I started reading Dear John and just finished it today. What a book, now I really really cant wait to go see the movie. Hopefully it comes out her this week, is was supposed to come out last week, but well its the Caribbean and nothing ever is as planned. Today we went to brunch at the Marriott, it was so good. And I haven't really been doing much all day which is exactly what I needed.

In other news...Brinley is recovering well from her surgery, its like nothing ever happened to her. This week is going to be pretty exciting on campus. Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald from the show Emergency Vets on Animal planet will be here. He will be giving multiple talks all week and on Wednesday he is giving a talk about his time doing research with polar bears, so I'm super excited. To me he is like a celebrity, and for someone like that to come to Ross, well it shows that they care about what we are doing and trying to accomplish. I guess it took him 8 tries to get into vet school, so coming to Ross University he knows where we stand.

Anyway...I might try to go study now, you know, just to get caught up! :)
